Stories on CD for Almost 3 Year Old...

I'd love to get some recommendations for story collection on CD for my almost-3-year old.  He loves Arnold Lobel stories (Frog & Toad, Mouse Tales), and is so-so on the Dr. Seuss CDs (I think for younger kids not having the pictures to look at maybe makes it harder to get into Seuss stories...?).  I saw there's a Little Bear CD, but it wasn't reviewed well (apparently Sigourney Weaver is not good at reading children's books). 

Suggestions?

My son love books on CD, but his two favorite book/CD sets are The Complete Adventures of Curious George and the Skippyjon Jones books.
