I've been suffering from this as well. I've been doing some reading online about how to get to sleep in the first place- that's my biggest problem. Important tips are no screens (TV, phone, computer) an hour before bed, no exercise two hours before. Read or listen to music before going to sleep. Set a time limit that you will lie there trying (30-45 min) and then get up and do something that will help you fall asleep (read, music). You just end up stressing yourself out by staying in bed thinking about sleeping.
I try to limit my liquid intake two hours before bed. I also drink Calm http://www.calmnatural.com/ twice a day on my midwife's recommendation. That seems to help. Don't turn on the light when you get up to go to the bathroom.
Honestly, I've just given up in a way. My body doesn't want to go to sleep before 1:30, so I usually just read until then. Then I nap during the day.
The only time I can get to sleep easily and early is when dp is here on the weekends. So 5 days out of 7, not goo sleep. At least I get two days off!
Good luck!
