Traveling out of state! What are my rights?

I am traveling to Pennsylvania soon and am having trouble finding up to date information regarding their breastfeeding laws. I am finding some conflicting information regarding the law that was past in 2007 making it a women's right to bf in public. I basically need to know what my rights are in pa so I can stand against the opposition I know I will receive bf'ing without covering. If any of you live in PA and can help me out that would be so great!

This page cites the 2007 laws and says,

Quote:

§ 636.3.  General rule

A mother shall be permitted to breastfeed her child in any location, public or private, where the mother and child are otherwise authorized to be present, irrespective of whether or not the mother’s breast is covered during or incidental to the breastfeeding.

Are you concerned about specific people challenging your right to nurse your baby in public or just random passersby?

I have nursed openly in public in many locations in Pennsylvania and have never received even a sideways glance.

Both. I traveling to my parents home and I'm sure my brothers will have something to say. Not too long ago he was complaining to me about the "woman" bf'ing at the table of a public restaurant AND she was covered! I know the small town my parents are from are very conservative so I just want to know my rights. I don't force my baby to eat under a blanket smile.gif
