Nursing Mamas TTC Graduates

Hey everyone! I enjoyed being in the Nursing Mamas TTC thread so much and thought we should continue it! So if you were in the thread before (though nursing preggo mamas that weren't in the thread are totally welcome!), join this one! We face unique challenges as mamas who are nursing through pregnancy, so it would be great to get the support!

I'll start.

I'm due in January with my second. Just got my BFP a few days ago. DD is 25 months and still nursing strong. I doubt she'll stop if my milk goes away. :-P Luckily no pain while nursing yet, but I'm feeling VERY touched out. Don't know how to deal with this. :-/

Hi...I am a two time graduate of the thread :)

although I slacked off posting before this last bfp....It just seemed to be taking too long and I lost interest...spent more time on the over 40 thread.

The first time I nursed my son until about 33 mos...5 mos pg...then the pain got to be unbearable..

I am currently 4 mos and nursing dd, 21 mos....pain not as bad as the last time yet.

def touched out both times

I was eager to tandum with my first, but def do not want to with this one!!!

now it is just a waiting game who will give first- me or dd?? or will I be stuck tandem???

I'm pretty excited to tandem, but I'm also afraid because it already hurts a ton and I'm only 5 weeks. :-/

I was not on the previous thread, but eager to join with others nursing through pregnancy!  I have a 26 month old son who is pretty much down to nursing just for naps and bedtime.  Sometimes an early morning nurse as well, and occasional other sessions.  I am due mid-January with #2!

I'm really curious as to what will happen to our nursing through the pregnancy.  I have no other way to get my child to sleep, so I hope we can keep going!  I am aware that there is a decent chance that he could wean if the milk dries up, and I'm not sure how to feel about that.  I'm trying to take it one day at a time and see where things go.

Hey I also have a 26 month old and I'm due in January!

As for getting to sleep, one thing that's really helped us is Dr. Seuss books. Must be the rhythm or something.
