Welcome to a new week everyone. Happy Mother's Day to all trying for #2 or more, Happy Hoping to be Mother's Day to the rest of us!

I've had a crazy weekend, Friday night (after I tested BFN), I woke after 3 hours dripping in sweat with a temp of 99.0, that was around 1am, I slept (very poorly/not much at all) until 5 because of terrible back pain/cramps like when AF is about to bust in, but when I got up my temp was 99.5. I was terribly nauseous all day yesterday, really tired, crampy, and had the same back pain/cramps when I went to bed last night. I tested with FMU yesterday and again today with BFN's (using 2 brands). I don't feel as bad today sickness wise, no nausea or fatigue. My temp was back down to normal post-O this morning, I'm still spotting like I have before AF. It was just such a strange night, I've never had AF cramps before AF before. I was feeling so hopeful especially with yesterday (funny how feeling so terrible can make you think, maybe I'm just pregnant, and think it isn't so bad). Now I'm feeling like I'm going to wake up to AF tomorrow, what a rollercoaster. Good thing my DH is taking me to Cape Cod for a little bit next week, I could use some time with the ocean.

Ok so the latest OPK's I got say "we recommend testing with first morning urine". I don't have a ton of OKP experience but the others I have used and everything I have read online says NOT to use FMU and that they are more accurate in the afternoon. I think because you could miss the surge bc it usually starts in the morning, something like that.  What do you guys think? I used one yesterday evening (2 hours holding it) and this afternoon(4 hours holding it). They were negative but I am having all other symptoms of O'ing soon and don't want to miss it! I think tomorrow I'll do one w/ FMU and maybe another in the afternoon? I know some ppl do 2 a day...

cbaa - I guess you'll just have to wait and see. I hope you can relax and have a break from the emotions! Great name for the thread btw

I had a BFN this morning. Disappointing to see that on Mothers Day, but don't count me out yet!! AF hasn't shown up yet, so I'm still crossing fingers and toes that something happened this month. I'll prob test every two days till I get either a BFP or AF!!

If AF DOES show up, then I'm gonna start reading TCOYF and all my Fertility Friend tutorial emails...and start charting ASAP for this next cycle!!

Sila: I usually used FMU with the digital smiley OPKs and had no problem getting problems. There was one month when I was sure I was about to O, and got a negative in the morning, in the afternoon, and finally a positive at 10 that night. So if you know more or less the day you may O try more than one.

Cbaa: i can only imagine how confusing and stressing all that is happening to you can be !!!! Try to relax and remember that there's still hope until AF shows up.. It's still really early , so who knows???? Keeping everything crossable crossed for you!!!!

AFM: ugh... nothing really going on here... tested this morning and BFN but I'm only 10dpo so... it could sill happen...

With my other pregnancies i never had any symptoms besides missing period so not much to actually watch out for ... i was going to temp but never happened ... I guess i will test everyday until AF shows that should be right around Friday...

Thanks Gemmine. I'll do FMU in the morning. I read on FF that most importantly you need to follow the rules of your OPKs  But I don't know why they wouldn't work at other times if I held it for a while. I REALLY wanted the smiley face digital but really wanted Preseed too and both were too expensive so I go the Preseed and cheaper OPKs. Every month I talk myself out of buying more expensive/digital tests and even tampons because I think that surely I am going to get pregnant this month! 

This would be the earliest (that I know of) that I have O'd. So I'm really hoping I actually do and not gear up to O like 3 times before actually doing so and end up having another inficycle. You will all know when I do though!

I tested this morning, 12dpo, BFN.  I am horribly sick though with bronchitis and laryngitis and just took some meds cause I'm dying so I'd almost rather just move onto the next cycle and try next month when I'm hopefully healthier.  We'll see though, but I tested with FMU using a FRER so I'm thinking it's a no this month.  I guess we'll see.  

Thanks for the new thread.  I hope we get some BFPs soon!

MommyM and tantylynn: Shall we have a Testing Saturday pact? Or Testing Sunday pact?

I fly to NY this Wednesday afternoon and come back Friday morning. So I have Tuesday and Wednesday morning to get more temps for 6-7DPO and obsessively compare them to last cycle. I'm still going to take the thermometer to NY and get Thursday & Friday morning possibly skewed temps (especially Friday because I normally take my temp 6AM Central Standard Time and my flight LEAVES at 6AM Eastern Standard Time...we'll see). So Saturday's temp back home should give me a clue. If not, maybe Sunday but I don't know if I can hold out that long.

cbaa: I'm sorry! You're not getting sick are you? Well, besides sick of AF I mean.

Not getting sick that I know of, I was sick just before O, so I guess I will blame it on that. I did everything right this cycle. I'm going to take a cycle away from MDC & charting starting at the end of this week. Who wants the thread next week? Time for some days by the ocean, a good book, and some fresh air.
