Mother's Day woes

I had to delete it.  I hate to whine.  I am going to suck it up and be the perfect mom again.  With a smile.  What else can I do?

I'm not sure what normal is but my kids and I are just chilling around the house loving each other and feeling grateful for all we have. Nothing special. I just made an improntu lunch with a neighbor mom and we are having a potluck with her kids and mine. I like to go with the flow without expectations. Did I hear from the kids fathers? Nope. Who cares, the kids are with me :)

Hugs!

We had a good day.  The kids want it to be so special and I stayed cheerful and grateful most of the time.  We had gorgeous weather and ended the day with burgers on the grill.

Their dad does not appreciate me at all.  I think I have finally stopped caring what he thinks.  Phew!

Hope today and each day has moments when you feel really proud of who you are as a mom and a person!
