Ideas for a family friendly Summer brunch

Thread Starter

I'm planning on having about 15 people for brunch and I need ideas for gluten free, warm weather friendly dishes (I'm hosting it the first weekend of June.) Here's my menu so far (I don't like to bake so I prefer ideas that don't include GF baked alternatives.)

Swiss Chard, Sausage and Feta Frittata

Seasonal fruit salad with a raw honey/citrus/mint dressing

Oven Roasted thick cut uncured bacon

Bloody Mary's (Alton Brown's recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/bloody-mary-recipe/index.html)

Sparkling raw honey lemonade

I'm looking for something dairy free and vegetarian to add as a main dish for two of the couples that will appeal to everyone else too.  I guess I could make another frittata but I don't know if it would be good dairy free... wouldn't it be kinda rubbery instead of creamy? Also I prefer it not be a baked good as I am the worst baker of all time; especially GF baking!

I'd also like something snacky to add as finger food.

homefries or roast potato chunks

latkes (potato pancakes)

roasted root veggies

buckwheat pancakes

deviled eggs

corn tortilla tostadas with beans and eggs

fried rice

shredded carrot and tofu scramble (much more delicious than it sounds)

3 or 5 bean salad

rice crackers and dip

soup

tempeh "bacon"

people with specific food need sare used to having to eat differently than those around them. focus on having .something with protein and flavor, and don't worry so much on how it fits with the rest of the meal
