help with weird possible early pg symptom

Ok so I havent exactly been TTC so I don't know my exact dates and stuff.  But I saw similar posts and thought this might be a good place to look for other experiences.  I have been feelin pg for about a week now. I assumed that I had been pg for a lil while and just now feeling it so I took a hpt and it was neg. However it is possible that I am feeling VERY early pg symptoms as well. Im talking had sex on the 27th and started feeling symptoms on the 30th.

I am now experiencing what I believe may be IB, it started Friday and is still going. The biggest and most consistent symptom has been my mood....horrible. But I have had fatigue, nausea, hot flashes, sore boobs on and off. And kinda cramply feeling most of the time. However the main thing I have a question about just happened. I was sitting here on the computer and felt a vibrating sensation in my groin area. So much so that I assumed my cell phone was between my legs or something. Anyone else had any kind of experience like this?

I'm certainly not an expert, but I have done some research on early pregnancy symptoms when I was TTC with my son.  You shouldn't feel ANYTHING at only 3 days after having sex because it takes 7-10 days for the egg to travel down to the uterus and start to attach.  You wouldn't feel any symptoms until at least when the egg starts attaching to the uterus.  Unfortunately, symptoms just before your period starts are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms.  Also, stress and other disruptions can cause some crazy things to your body.

Around what day is your period due?  A home pregnancy test wouldn't work until your period is due.  If you really want, you could go to your obgyn and have a pregnancy test done.  They have tests much more sensitive.

No experience regarding the vibrating feeling.

Do you track any other fertility symptoms?  Have any idea about your cervical fluid or cervical position to make a good guess about your ovulation day?  Keep in mind that you conceive the day you ovulate, not the day you have sex (unless they are the same day or within 24 hours after).  So let's say you did ovulate on the 27th.  I disagree with the pp about feeling early symptoms.  While scientifically I agree that hCG isn't produced until implantation, which generally occurs 6-12 days after ovulation, I have heard from many women that they feel things almost immediately.  I had symptoms at 8 DPO- sudden hunger and nausea, some dizziness and fatigue, which worsened as the days went on.  So you would be about 12 DPO now, which is generally long enough to test positive on an HPT.  Since you're negative today, it seems unlikely that you ovulated on the 27th/28th or that you're not pg and AF will show in the next day or so.  To catch that egg from sex on the 27th, ovulation could have been as late as the 2nd (though this would not explain your early symptoms), so pregnancy is still possibility until around the 14th of May if AF has not yet shown up.  It's really just a waiting game... test again in a few days.  And if you're not pg, start charting next cycle to take the mystery out of things!  thumb.gif
