exhausted

I'm 26 weeks this week and I have just been feeling exhausted for about the past 4 of them.  I don't want to do anything but sleep.  I've increased my iron by adding a kelp supplement daily and it's made a slight bit of a difference, but nothing that noticeable.  The second trimester with my first two was energy filled in comparison to the exhaustion of the first and this one is just the opposite.... I've got a lot less energy now than I did in the first trimester.  does anyone have any energy boosting suggestions?

if you think iron is an issue, could i also suggest floradix, a really wonderful plant and herb based iron supplement? are you also getting lots of fresh fruits and veggies? drinking enough water? feelings of exhaustion can absolutely be derivived from dehydration, unbeknowst to many. how are you sleeping? are you able to sleep at night? do you ever get to nap in the day?

perhaps your little one is just in the midst of a really big growth spurt. be gentle with yourself, it takes so much to grow a baby, and for number three? there are all of your energy reserves that have been depleting in your previous pregancies and even now, because your energy goes into caring for the other two. i would say to find some time, even just ten minutes in a day, to devote to being restful and honoring your body in a meditative and amazed by your own powers kind of way.

blessings, mama!

I nap everyday, at lest once, sometimes twice a day.  I've been getting to bed earlier so getting more sleep at night.  none of it seems to touch on the tired. Oh yeah, and I've been remembering to drink more water.  May I ask what Floradix is?

floradix is a plant and herb based iron supplement that makes it really easy for your body to actually absorb the iron. i just mentioned it because it is a steallar iron supplement, and you mentioned already trying to increase iron. :) napping every day is fantastic, i'm glad you can get those naps in!

I'm with elevena...I used that in my last pregnancy, and it made a HUGE difference. It was so nice!
