I just saw your post and wanted to respond since no one else has yet.
You know, here in Sidney we have never been asked/told about vaccines since we moved here last fall with our now 2 1/2 year old daughter (or at least I can't remember). It has really surprised me; so far, my daughter has seen Dr. Carlos Trevino a few times (for sicknesses and a well-toddler check), and he hasn't mentioned it. We might try the new female pediatrician in town, just because my daughter has a very difficult time warming up to Dr. Trevino even though he is friendly and gentle.
Maybe it hasn't come up (vaccine issue) at the doctor's office because vaccines in this town are given through the public health dept., which is a totally different place.
In Bozeman (where we moved from), vaccines were given at the doctor's office; Dr. Andrea Cady in Bozeman was totally in support of my alternative and selectively spaced out vaccine schedule.
Blessings,
Cynthia
