Deep congestion, sounds like snoring

DD had her first ear infection last week is on day 7 of amoxicillan which is giving her the runs and cut her First tooth yesterday. She's been stuffy snotty nosed but last night she sounded like she was snoring! Position changes didn't help ...it just sounds like a really deep congestion. Ideas? Its not bothering her too much but its making me crazy!

DS has been like this on and off all winter.  I don't have any great/unusual advice.  Humidifier, saline.  I find the saline and sleeping slightly upright does help some.  I spray the saline up his nose (he's FINALLY getting sorta used to it after doing this for months) maybe 15 minutes before bedtime and make sure he stays upright (exersaucer) or at least on his belly until bedtime.  More saline morning and afternoon.  For us it's mostly about waiting it out  :(
