is either one of these pregnancy teas better than the other?

My husband works near our Whole Foods, so I had him run in and get me some pregnancy tea.  I have some RRL tea, but I'm not quite sure about starting that yet since I'm only 33 weeks.  I know some people drink it the whole time, but I'm afraid I will freak out if it starts to cause me to have stronger BH contractions than I already am!  I was thinking of drinking the pregnancy tea for a couple weeks then starting on the RRL.

They had two kinds, he didn't know which to get so he got me both.  Here is the info on them:

Yogi Woman's Mother to Be tea: 1900mg total of RRL, peppermint leaf, stinging nettle leaf, spearmint leaf, dandelion root, fennel seed, and cardamom seed.  It doesn't break down each indivually into mg.

Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy Tea: RRL 350mg, strawberry leaf 350mg, nettle leaf 175mg, 875mg total of the following...spearmint leaf, bitter fennel fruit, rose hip, alfalfa leaf, and lemon verbena leaf.

They are pretty different, so I wasn't sure if someone could tell me which one would be better.  Thanks!

anyone know?  :)

I don't know for sure. I've used two kinds of pregnancy tea so far: the first had RRL, spearmint, dandelion, burdock (I think?) and nettle, and the second has chamomile, RRL, fennel and nettle.

I believe nettle is related to iron levels, dandelion has something to do with liver function, RRL is a uterine tonic (and according to the lady in the herbal shop, will help decrease PP bleeding)... chamomile is calming, but I'm not sure what it's doing my pregnancy tea. I know other pregnancy teas sometimes include alfalfa (again for iron, or hematocrits or something) and oatstraw.

I guess your best bet is to research the individual ingredients and see what you're most likely to need - is your iron low, did you have long, putzy labours in previous pregnancies, did you bleed a lot PP? Or you could get both teas and alternate them. :p Sorry I can't be more help!

No, don't apologize...that was helpful!  I actually do have both...two boxes of both!  I could definitely alternate them, I just wanted to make sure since they are so different that one wasn't worthless or harmful or something like that!  My iron levels did come back low when they were tested a couple weeks ago.  Not sure about having slow labors since I was induced the first time...but last time my contractions stalled after my water broke.  I didn't have any bleeding problems either time.  I'll check out the ingredients to see what they do.  Thanks for the help!  :)
