I'm not sure what tobthink about this. DS had his 3YO WBV today and we declined any VBAC. He was due for his third prevenar, hep a, HIV and his first MMR. I told the doctor i wanted to wait until DS is five for the MMR. The doctor reminded me to be aware of measels outbreaks because apparently in MN there have been an upraised in outbreaks. We live in a state neighboring MNband planned to go there at the end of the month.

Was the doctor trying to use a fear tactic or was it a fair warning? Is it true there are no studies hat PROVE MMR has anything to do with autism? And it it true there stenographer studies that DISPROVE it as well?

There have been measles cases reported in MN. Does that mean your doc was using fear mongering? Not sure how he presented it to you.

There are no studies that PROVE the MMR or any other vaccine do not cause/contribute to autism. There are studies (some very poorly done/designed) that suggest that there is no correlation.

Is there a particular reason you're concerned about your son catching measles?  Does he have any underlying conditions which might make him more susceptible to suffering serious complications from measles...?  It's typically a very mild illness in healthy children...and that's IF they catch it first.
