Need advice for my sick toddler - runny nose, cough, fever, diarrhea

My son is 14 mos old and mostly breastfed. He has had a few bites of solids here and there, but isn't super interested. His poops has been sort of in between bf poop and "solids" poop for a while, but mostly one or two poopy diapers a day. Now he has had a runny nose for more than a week. It has been accompanied by some diarrhea - first almost watery and several times a day. The past two days it has been mostly clear mucous with the yellow (bf coloured poop) and what looks like curds in it. And every diaper now seems to be dirty as opposed to some wet ones. He has also had a fever and a cough for the past two days. And still has the runny nose. He is listless and miserable and I am concerned. This is the first time that he has a cold that last more than a few days and he has never had diarrhea before. Any insight and advice?

Some viral illnesses can last for a couple of weeks. As long as you are making sure he is not getting dehyfrated from the runs (pedialite, breastmilk ect - not water), Id would probably give it a bit more time. If you are super concerned you can always call your doc and see what he/she has to say.
