Can I vent?
I've lost some weight over the past couple weeks. Six-seven pounds, providers aren't happy. But they are acting like I'm trying. It doesn't help that I'm anemic. My blood sugars are holding well, baby is growing, I just can't seem to eat enough. Believe me, I'm eating. A lot. What is the solution the nurse gives me? "Eat lots of pasta and ice cream!"
No, you don't seem to understand my situation, lady. One, I'm supposed to me limiting dairy to help with iron absorption. Two, pasta and my blood sugar? Not bffs.
Maybe instead of jumping all over me and giving unapplicable advice, provide some support. Because I'm frustrated. And tired.
NST/biophysical went well, she's still measuring well. She took longer on the NST today, but it was early and mornings are the only time I think she is actually sleeping.
