I am brand new to this forum.  My name is Hannah and I am 18 weeks here with my fourth baby. I am still in all of my regular clothes (albeit they are my bigger jeans that were packed away for post baby), maternity clothes swallow me.

23 weeks!  I feel both tiny, and huge at the same time. Huge when I go to try to do things, or wear my old clothes, but then I think that there's an 11" long baby in there... and he/she is over halfway cooked, and the belly seems so impossibly small. To think that there are babies that have been born this far along, and lived, and I've seen photos-- it just doesn't match up when I look at my belly. lol I'm right on track with where I want to be weight-wise. 23 weeks, and I think I'm just teetering on 15lbs, so I should be good to gain a nice 1lb a week from here on out!

And an artsy-fartsy one. Because my skin is so tight, I have a feeling the photos are going to get... less pretty, rather than more pretty as I go along. lol. I wanted one to show my belly button in all its popped out creepy looking glory, and you can see the linea nigra darkening already.

Oh my gosh!  Look at the great pictures!

*sigh*

I tried to get a pic, but discovered that I really REALLY don't show in a way that anyone can see- despite measuring WAY ahead.

Beautiful bellies!  Welcom, HannahMac!  I hope to chat with you on the discussion boards!  It's so much fun having company on this journey!  I don't have any pregnant friends IRL (except my sister, whose EDD is next Monday and who lives 6 hours from me).

Front and Side views, 20.5 weeks.  Not great shots, but as good as it gets for now.

AveryLamb - I'm amazed you were able to go so long in your husban's shirts.  That's a good-sized belly.  smile.gif

We're doing a classic Pooh theme for Baby's stuff. smile.gif (We're both huge A.A. Milne fans!)

OK, mamas, do you think I look big? Be honest. This is my first -- I was pretty thin and in shape before I got pregnant, and this is all baby... my arms and legs are still the same size. My mom, who had 8, keeps telling me I'm big, there's no way I'm only having one or my dates are off, etc. What do you think?

And what is the deal with the non-round belly? I've always had a very defined waist, and there's still an indentation where my waistline should be. Weird.

lol! Not sure if I should be offended or amused...I'll go with amused ;) (One of my friends joked the other day, "Are you sure it's only one?" I'm sure!) He wears large or XL shirts...they just sorta hang there. This was the first shirt that actually defined my belly! I'm just glad I started looking *pregnant* and stopped looking *fat* ;)

I don't think you look *so* big. I mean, compare to my pic and BennyPai's comment ;) I'm 19 (almost 20) weeks...but I started out with a stomach. There's still sorta an indentation where my waist is too, but since the upper part of my belly sticks out more, so the shirt hides my waist, you can't really tell.

jesusfollower-- I don't think you look any bigger than I am. Then again- I'm getting comments every single freaking day now that people assume I must be ready to pop any day now-- people are ridiculous. I have a very round beach ball looking belly, but there's no WAY my belly could house a 7lb baby right now. People just don't think before they open their mouths.

I don't have a defined waist, but I can still see my hipbone indentations. I'm feeling calm as long as they stay! lol.

I was 24 weeks yesterday, I should get DH to take a new photo today-- and my new hair!

oh the comments about size its as though no one has ever seen a pregnant women before, are you sure there arent two in there if i hear that one more time i might scream, no i will scream.  ahhhhh! i dont feel abnormally large! or on the opposite side people saying i dont look pregnant at all.  both are insulting, i wish people just would say ahh its perfect!  rant!

Jesusfollower, I don't think you look big either. No bigger than I am (my first too), and I also had the non-round belly for a long time. Now that my fundus has moved above my belly button, it's looking more round--especially after I eat! And your mother is probably just used to seeing the flat-tummied, non-pregnant you, so it's surprising to her. Don't worry! Your body is exactly the size it should be to make the baby it's making!
