I do think you are on the right path. I see that your son is extremely intelligent and he will need to be in special programs over his life because of it. I also think that there may be difficulties that arise because he's too smart for his own good. Meaning, I find that sometimes people are so smart, that at a young age, it's hard to know what to do with all that information and understanding that they have. It can be difficult to be young with so much knowledge, sometimes even more than adults. So you will need to work with him to help him remain grounded and centered and not be too annoyed when he gets aggravated b/c ppl just don't get it (and most ppl don't). I am also sensing that his intelligence is a determinant in how he acts. I keep hearing that he may be referred to as having Aspergers at some point. I'm not so sure this is the case. I just think he's just really smart and the rest of us are pretty dumb. LOL
