Anovulatory cycles

so I am on CD 96 and I am assuming this would be something like an anovulatory cycle. My temps are crazy up and down.  I have never AF more than 3 times a year since I started my cycles. So im not sure if I would call it anovulatory or something else. I have an appt w/ my MW in June and will be giving her 2 months worth of charts. I guess Im just asking for what you all think. TIA!

I guess I should add that I have recently (the day before yesterday & today) I have had two almost positive OPK's, not even a shade drker than the control line.

I am not an expert with long cycles, but I will say your cycle looks exactly like two of my friends' cycles- one who has been diagnosed with PCOS and one who was diagnosed with PCOS, but doesn't think it's correct.  Long cycles of erratic temps with multiple patches of EW and C indicate that your body is constantly trying to O, but doesn't succeed.  Since you mention 2 years of charts, do you catch O with your temps and see a biphasic pattern?  How long is your LP?  My first friend was not actually ovulating- her bleeding was anovulatory bleeding.  She tried clomid, IUI, and finally succeeded with IVF for baby #1 and IUI for baby #2.  My second friend does ovulate, but after a really long cycle and it is difficult to see the temp shift.  But she's ovulating b/c she recently got pregnant (and unfortunately miscarried at 6-7 weeks).

I don't see a way to look at your past charts to look at your luteal phase.  Do you know how to share them?  I will be interested to hear what your mw says!  Please keep us updated!

Its actually only two MONTHS of charting! stillheart.gif  Awhile ago my MW did say something about maybe slight PCOS w/o the infertility but I never got tested or went any further. I have two children and was able to get pg w/in a year of having unprotected random sex. KWIM? As far as a pattern after O'ing.... I havent found one yet! and the comment about my body trying to ovulate is a GREAT thought! No one has said that yet! I have recently started taking Vitex to help jump start my cycles.

what a temp spike I got today! from being normally in the 96 it was almost 98!! Even with my recent almost positive OPK there's prolly NO chance I could be (or get) pregnant...could there?

Well, that is a good sign along with your positive OPK that you ovulated yesterday or early this morning.  There is still a chance of catching that egg if you DTD today and tomorrow (for good measure).  But keep in mind that one temp does not a pattern make, so the real test will be if your temp stays high over the next few days, then you can confidently say you ovulated and you're in your LP counting days until AF or BFP!  Otherwise this temp could be the onset of a slight cold, result of some other stressor, or just an errant temp.  Keep us posted!

So I got a coverline on Fertility Friend (Im guessing thats what the red cross is...i need to research it :p) ...and a very (almost no line at all) negative ovulation test. Good Lord I hope I DID ovulate. Maybe this Vitex I have been taking since Feb is FINALLY working! Now Im wondering when AF will show up...hummmm

It finally looks like a pattern will happen!

Yes, FF gave you cross hairs (indicating O and a coverline).  However, I'm not sure I agree with FF's assessment.  It has O on CD 94 because of your positive OPK, wet CF, and lack of CF on CD 95.  But you got a OPK+ on CD 96?  This is not likely at all past ovulation.  So I'm thinking you had some CF but didn't chart it on CD 95 and 96?  I think your more likely O day is CD 96... it would raise your coverline to 97.0 as well.  So that would put you at 7 DPO instead of 9 DPO.  Just something to keep in mind as you test.
