I am like you and absolutely will remember it and it does matter to me.  For me, it partly has to do with respecting me and my wishes and the fact that I have an extremely overbearing family (on both sides) that do anything BUT respect me.  It would be nice for one thing in my life to be mine...  I hope you figure it out and get through this.  I know it's hard to hold those lines when everyone is constantly pushing them.

I know it will be fine.  No matter what happens, obviously life will go on and we will get over it. 

Like I said, I am going to post the note, and I do feel that it is proactive.  I'm not laying awake nights worrying about it or trying to control other people's every move.  In the scheme of things, I'm not asking a lot of anyone, and I am sure my wishes will be respected once they are known.
