Best Nursing Bras, and Likely Size?

Can anyone recommend good nursing bras that aren't wildly expensive, and also give me some idea how much my bra size is likely to change from 6+ months pregnant to nursing (for those bras which don't accommodate multiple cup sizes)?  I am hoping my wee ones won't be early, but they might be, and if I'd prefer to be able to order things that would take a while, in good time.

I bought a night and day nursing bra from http://www.favorsandflavors.net. It was only $17 and worth every penny! It is pretty accomodating, so you might want to look at it and see if it will work for you.

A lot depends on your size. I have to buy online, because I'm a big cup size but small band. Also, it's really hard to say for sure how much your size will change, as it varies from person to person. I think having at least a couple of transitional nursing bras is a good idea but maybe wait to get them till the 8th month or so. I personally like Bravado Original and Melinda G T-Shirt bras for these type. They both are super comfy and have growing room. I like ordering from Breakoutbras.com. I've seen a cheaper line of Bravado bras at Target that look pretty good, and if I was a smaller size I'd go for something like that. Good luck!

Motherhood Maternity has a basic sport bra for about $20 that gives lots of support without underwires and looks cute too! I've been living in them for the past 2 years and just bought another one in fact. My 2nd is due in July and I'm still nursing my 1st, so no end in sight, lol! The sizes go S-M-L-XL, and having a few M and a few L, for me means I'm set.

With pregnancy, milk coming in, postpartum and now the cycle repeating, I've been everywhere from a large C to an F cup, but probably a D-DD for most of the time. I went from a D at about 6 months preg to an F when my milk came in (not comfortable!!!) but then was back down to a DD within a couple months postpartum, then back down to a C-D by 9 months postpartum. This time around my boobs don't seem to be growing as much--I've been a D cup pretty much this whole preg. So I'm hoping to stay smaller when my milk comes in this time too, esp. because I'm already lactating so it's not like all my milk ducts are developing for the first time.

But I know it varies widely person-person, so you should be prepared to stay the same size or go up 1-2 full cup sizes once your milk comes in. Then after your supply stabilizes, you could again stay the same or shrink back down. I know that doesn't help you, sorry! Changing sizes constantly has been frustrating in terms of bras and other clothing too, so your best bet is to just have a couple different sizes on hand. Waiting till your 8th month, to see if you grow or stay the same between now and then, as a PP mentioned might be a good idea if you have things to wear in the meantime.

You're welcome! Breakoutbras has the best fitting guide I've found. It was spot on for me, and their customer service is great, low prices, quick and free shipping, and a 10% discount code. I've ordered from them numerous times, always with good results.
