I've known two kids with  bowlegs.

My brother had terrible bowlegs when he was small. You could pass a cantalope between his knees when he was standing up. They put special shoes on him to correct the growth and he was fine. (No surgery.) The shoes were raised along one side of the foot and sloped downward. They were hard-soled. They were expensive, but they worked like a charm. His legs grew straighter and straighter as he grew. He's now 6'2 and straight-legged as you could hope.

A guy in my office had a daughter with bowlegs. She had surgery and special shoes to help straighten the legs. She's fine now. Her legs are beautifully straight.

So... don't worry about it. Wait and see how it goes. It's likely that she will be just fine without additional surgeries.

It seems like an FYI, such as when ds' doctor casually mentioned that when his medication first came out, four children taking it had died suddenly bigeyes.gif. Though we took ds to get an EKG, I researched the deaths later and found out that the children all had underlying conditions and nothing like it had happened since.
