Sourire, I was all set to do a monitored Clomid cycle according to my RE's recommendation...and then my insurance company totally rained on my parade. I'll speak to the RE tomorrow and then I'll know what she recommends, maybe Clomid without monitoring (and without trigger) or something else. I'm sure I'll be asking you tons of questions if I do Clomid as planned!

Gemmine, I have had that 13dpo bfn debate with myself way too much. On the one hand, I have definitely heard of false negs at 13-14dpo and my RE (reproductive endocrinologist) does not even do a blood test until 16dpo. On the other hand, I think for those who chart/use nfm and are knowledgeable about the sensitivity of the hpt they're using and how to read it, it is unlikely to get a false neg at 14dpo with a ~25 mUI. At 13dpo, though, it really is harder to say. Even with a definite opk/temp shift/cm signs you might have ovulated a day or more later than it appears. Basically I would do the same thing you are, keeping the possibility going but trying not to get too hopeful. I do think the high temp is very promising, if your lp is usually 14 days or less. So is the smiley opk. Thinking of you - fingers crossed!

writinglove, Congratulations!!

I know you've probably read all of the stories about "late" BFP's. I'm not an early tester (I know many women get BFP's as early as 9 days but I know this would not be true for me) so I have no real advice for you other then the positive OPK sounds promising/frustrating! 18 high temps (as long as you are positive of your O) means there is a baby in there!
