Nanny / SAHM near Lawrenceville

I accepted a temporary position today with my old employer. It's only for 7 weeks but hopefully will help me to find something long term as we need it and I've been out of work for a year and a half.

I wanted to network to see if anyone knew of nannies or moms wanting to stay home and take in a few kids.

This would be full days for both kids (daughter is in school through June 3rd). The assignment runs May 23 - July 10th and my husband is looking to take some time off for transition.

Please let me know if you are aware of anyone so that we can begin screening.

Thanks much.

Bump... looking for some ideas :)

I'll hit up my non-parent good friend in South Brunswick.  She knows every human on the earth and what their current state of affairs is.  ;)  Will take me a few days to get back.  Can you pm me a bit more details (hours, your house or theirs, ballpark pay)

Honestly, you could probably post to the university (Pton, Rider, Trenton State) and catch a student...?

Still looking in case there is some magical person out there (and affordable too) :).

Current caregiver moving and we're suffering setbacks in a lot of areas as of result of all the stress.

Seems like I can't even get some of the people off of care.com to be eager to meet up for interview...mecry.gif

Oh bummer!  I wish I was in NJ!  I'm a  SAHM to my 11 month old baby boy.  I have been babysitting with him part-time since his birth and am now looking for a full time position.  If you know anyone in lower Westchester have them e-mail me. camm731@gmail.com Good luck in your search!!!!!

I wish you were in NJ too! My kids have had a rough time with caregivers and it's made me upset about returning to work all that much more.

To the point that I am trying to convince my husband that he should try and stay home if we can find a way to afford it...

Sooo... if you do hear of some dynamic person in my area who the children could really love...

Let me know, thanks.

Hey. I am a SAHM in Cranbury. The thought occurred to me a couple times to do something like this for some extra money. I don't have any experience or credentials, though.

If you want to have a conversation about it, PM me.

Still looking. Hubby strongly considering staying home at this point. Not sure if we can afford. Didn't think it'd be this hard.

Hey, I was just thinking of you. We should really get together because I'd love to help in any way I can, even if it's not 5 days a week. I will give you a call.
