Project check list

We have so many projects, what about you?  What's on your to-do list?

--finish a/c install in rabbitry. 

--build new poultry barn

--build milking room

--finish fencing perimeter

--cross fence area for sheep

--build sheep barn

--set up gray water recycling system

--plant several more fruit trees

--butcher 5 more pigs, leaving 2 to fatten

--make cheese press

-finish the chicken run enclosure

-make more cages for our flemish giants

-make 12 doors for the barn as the old ones are bad/missing

-get doors on the front and back of the barn

-move feeders since we got the pastures seeded and cannot use them now

-build a milking stanchion

-finish the tack/feed room organization

-get horses shoed

-make a cheese press

-make a filter system for the cow's milk

-get the rest of the garden in

-stake up the raspberries 

-build a trellis for the new grapes

-trench around the barn so the south stalls stop flooding

-tear out dead shrubs etc from previous owner and replace with herbs

-clean out irrigation ditches and get the system set up

-get peas staked before they get too big

I know there is more, so much more, but this is all I can think of atm.

Oh good grief.  Maybe this wasn't a good idea.  I just thought of about 10 more things, lol.

Well, we've gotten some of the things done.  Should have more done but we got sidetracked on to other projects that weren't even on the list.  Oops!  Or maybe not, because they did need to be done.

Ok, yeah, none of it got done yet, except for being ALMOST done w/fencing the perimeter....  LOL!  However, we did go to remove some bees from someone's shed, but then it turned out to be just scouter bees, and no colony (yet).  Then we got in our 3 hives and discovered wax moths.  Ugh. 

We got mowing done, and then had bad storms (including a small tornado that hit our house and several others nearby, thankfully no bad damage/injuries).

We bartered for rabbit hutches and another buck.

I totally understand about getting side tracked!  Happens all.the.time here.  And we'll skip around from project to project, depending on time/funds available, but eventually it all gets done, lol.  We have another bee job to go look at asap, too, and who knows how many other things won't get done because of it!
