Hi Mamas,
I am a Seattle Mom of two (2 and 4 years) and psychology professor at Seattle Pacific University. I am conducting a study looking at infant perception of beauty and art and am seeking families with babies between the ages of 6-10 months who might be interested in participating. The experiment involves having your baby observe original abstract art and altered art, and we videotape his/her eye movements to measure preference. Do babies like complexity? Contrast? Color? The whole visit takes about 30 minutes and your baby gets $10 and a small gift for contributing to research! We have free parking and babysitting for older sibs, if necessary. If you are interested at all, please email me and I will send you the official "flyer" and IRB approved informational email and then if you are still interested, we can go from there setting up an appointment. Thank you so much for reading this, and passing the word along!
