Wake County Homebirth Birthcertificate Q's?

Hi to all!!!! Sorry this is for North Carolina (forgot to add that to the title)...wake county

I am having a homebirth with this child soon...well within the next two-three weeks. I am looking up information about how to obtain birth certificate and SSN for this child.

I know I have to bring the baby with me but not sure where I am to go. Vital records office? Register of deeds? And the process to go about obtaining one. Do I call in advance??? It's all so confusing online.

Any BTDT moms or other advice please help!!
