Help! How can I get her back on BF,she is only 8 weeks

I had been breastfeeding my daughter since she was born(she is two months now).As I had low supply,I would give her formula as well but only after breastfeeding if she would cry.Even after few bottles when i would be out on an appointment, she would take the breast easily. Now,yesterday I had an appointment and was out for like 4 hours and she was bottle fed.And guess what! she is not taking my breast anymore.I am trying and trying and trying but no success.Any ideas, suggestions?I feel like a bad mommy and continue to BF her.I am pumping but still I want her to do it herself :(:(

Have you tried hand expressing a little bit into her mouth, sort of as a reminder that "hey, there's food in here!"? It worked fairly well to get DD on EBF from being Ebottle fed in the NICU. Just keep trying and don't give up!

nak. Try when she's relaxed and not overly hungry.

Keep trying!  Maybe switch to breast-feeding in the middle of the feeding or even at the end.

Can you block off a couple of days and plan to do nothing but lay around and nurse on demand?  Lots of skin to skin contact, cuddles and water for mama.  Offer the breast every time she seems interested and don't bring out the bottles at all.  Don't have anything else planned that might make you anxious to get feeding over with.

Thank you all for your responses.

Let me add that the instant I offer her breast, she starts to cry, even pumping with hand to realize doesn't make the situation any better.

I do have next few days without much responsibilities,so would definitely spend it with her.

If she keep refusing my breast and I dont give her bottle,I fear she is gona go hungry?

Maybe this will help some.  I would definitely feed her if she won't breastfeed.  Others may have different opinions but I don't think it's as simple as "if she's hungry enough, she'll breastfeed."

I definitely agree with this, especially since you've dealt with low supply.
