Hi everyone! My name is Jordan. I have a 19 month old daughter, Tyler, and I'm currently 4 months pregnant with baby #2 (hopefully a boy! Won't know for about a month). Tyler is such a smart wonderful toddler. She's still nursing, attendign a Montessori preschool next year, and currentyl enjoying an awesome playgroup 2X a week. I opted out of vaccinations and she's primarily raised very holistically, and she is NEVER sick.
I own and operate a dog grooming shop out of my house, so I get to make my hours as flexible as I want them to be so that Tyler and I can spend lots of time together. I've been grooming for over 6 years. As a hobby I breed and compete with my Belgian shepherds. Currently I have three at home (though one is on her way to her new permanent home in Norway in September after I finish her championship) and I also co-own two others who live away from me. I have an extra female right now who is here for breeding (my current stud's first litter), and at the end of the month one of my girls is due for her last breeding (a repeat of last year's because I am so happy with the results). We do conformation (show), agility, rally-o, and a bit of herding. Next year I want to get my male in tracking & schutzhund (protection sport) classes.
My husband, Kyle, works as a heavy equipment operator. As a hobby he builds trucks and has fun mudbogging and 4X4ing with his boggers and his honda odyssey buggy.
Currently we're working hard, saving up, paying off our lines of credit and slowly fixing up the house; Our goal is to buy a farm in the next two years. Over 10 acres where I can own a dog kennel, a raw dog food business, plenty of animals/livestock, huge gardens, lots of space for Kyle's vehicles, and of course lots of space for the kids!
