New to BBT Charting

I am new to the BBT charting thing.  This is our third month of trying and my first month using the BBT charting.  I was hoping you guys could take a look at my chart.  I know I need a few more days to actually confirm ovulation, but looking at my chart, the temperature dip yesterday along with the rise today, in conjunction with my O symptoms, is this what an ovulation dip along with the beginning of a thermal shift looks like?

I'm confused about after the ovulation dip and then the rise.  I notice my temp rose 1 full degree from yesterday (a good swing) but the temp it rose to is the average temp I've been having in the follicular phase thus far.  Does this temp rise have to go far above the average temps in my follicular phase to be considered actual ovulation? I know you need three full days of a higher temp to be considered ovulation but my question is do my temps need to keep increasing from 97.6 (today's temp) in order for it to be actual ovulation, or can it remain steady at 97.6 and/or above for the next several days to be considered ovulation? (I hope I'm making sense)

I know tomorrow's temp will certainly be a better indicator of what's going on but I was hoping for some tips fron the experts todaywinky.gif

Well, without any other charts to compare it to, I would guess that this was not an ovulation spike.  The dip could be caused by any number of things, but it is unlikely that you would have wet CF the day after ovulation.  Plus, an ovulation spike does tend to spike well above the rest of your pre-O temps unless you have a slow rise or stair step pattern.  Generally speaking, the temp will be at least 0.2 degrees higher than any of the previous 6 temps, which it's not.  But, again, since there are no past charts to compare to, you'll just have to wait a few more days to see what's happening.  I would still DTD today as you are likely to O very soon if you did not already.
