moving with a freezer stash

Hi there!  We're going to be moving half way across the country and I don't want to lose my (small) freezer stash of breast milk.  What would you all suggest for traveling (probably a FULL day) with frozen milk and keeping it frozen?

Thanks!

I did this.  I moved from NY to AZ in the summer and needed my freezer stash b/c I was going back to work.  It was a bit of a pain, but I fed ex'd it on dry ice.  I lost about 6 oz b/c of a screw up and the fact that it was 105 degrees in AZ that day, but otherwise it worked well.  It was pricey but well worth it.  I bought my dry ice at an ice place that services the ice cream trucks.  Then I bought a small styrofoam cooler, packed the milk, and raced to Fed Ex.  Good luck!

Thanks!  There is an ice cream shop nearby that sells dry ice so that will be my first stop the day we move!

I was just about to post a similar question.  I never would have thought of the ice cream shop route.  Thanks!
