First Language Lessons and English for the Thoughtful Child

Does anyone have experience with both of these and can compare/contrast them?  My DD will be starting K in the fall and I'm interested in the CM approach.

Thank you.

I have used both, and I prefer English for the Thoughtful Child. I like the direct connection of writing and learning basic English grammar. English for the Thoughtful Child requires more writing than the more oral First Language Lessons. What you choose will depend on how well your child can write simple sentences or if your child learns would learn better through a more oral, one-on-one approach.
