There are really no good educational options in our area. The public schools leave too much to be desired and the private options are abysmal. I would love to see a charter school (perhaps Reggio Emilia, or similar) in the South Elgin area. Does anyone have any experience in this or knowledge. I have no background in children's education; however, I am willing to facilitate the leg work to get a charter school off the ground. Any other mama's interested???
