Introducing a bottle

I don't know if this is the right place for this question, but I'll give it a try!

My baby is 6 months old and exclusively breastfed. We are just starting solids. Since she was born, she has taken an occasional bottle of EBM from my mom or my husband. She wasn't a big fan, but did OK with it. Mostly, the problem now is I went several weeks without giving a bottle (mostly because I just love nursing her, I'm home almost all the time and I'm lazy about pumping) so she seems like she doesn't want to take one now. The last time we left her with my mom the baby outright refused the bottle.

Right now, it's not an issue since I still have several months of mat leave left, but I'm trying to leave her with my mom or her daddy more because I don't want it to be a big sudden change when I go back to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get her the take the bottle more readily?

Thanks in advance!

My little guy started taking expressed breastmilk out of an open cup at about 4 months old, so I would suggest trying a cup, or even a sippy cup. Your little one may surprise you!

I'd introduce a sippy. We didn't even attempt any bottles after five months or so. The best one I found to start with was the small Avent Magic Cups with the soft spout. I took the valve out to start. DS caught on really quickly.
