random question regarding bra sizing

I know this is sort of a random strange question...

However,

I am having the hardest time finding bras that fit well, because my girls are different sizes.  If I buy the size that Mrs. Left fits, it's too big for Mrs. Right.  If I buy the size that fits Mrs. Right, it's tight on Mrs. Left.  Does anyone else have this problem, and what have you done?  I am really frustrated with this whole thing.

Well I don't have that specific issue, but I did have a helluva time finding a good, properly fitting nursing bra. It finally dawned on me to go to an actual bra store...not like Victoria's Secret...like one for women with extra large breasts (me!), very small ones, or special situations like yours. The one where I live is called The Bust Stop, and lemme tell you, I am so glad I went! I got fitted by a specialist, and it turns out I'm a 32i!! I had been wearing a 36DD....waaay off!

I'm sure a place like that could custom make something for you.

I did pay a visit to our local BFing support store.  That's where I got my last two bras.  They are ok, better than what I had.  I'm not in love with them.  The price was right, and like I said, they are better than what I was wearing.  I don't have any idea where I would go other than that store to get fitted.  To my knowledge, there isn't any other similar store in my area.  I wonder if anyone in my tribal area would be able to help.

I don't personally have that issue either, but I've seen this bra that might work. I haven't personally tried it.

I have these 2 bras that I like for early on when size is fluctuating which might work for you, as they both have a lot of stretch and growing room. Maybe they would work for uneven sizes? The Bravado is nice if you're a bigger size, because it can be ordered in custom sizes.

I'd love it if we had a store like the pp mentioned, but we don't. I'm stuck ordering online for that reason, because I'm a small band but large cup.. 34F-H. I love Breakoutbras.com sizing guide. It was spot on for me when other sites were way off.

That's a great suggestion!  I will check them out.  And thanks for posting the links.  I don't have time atm to check them out, but will get back later.

Interested to see the responses too. I had this problem even pre-nursing and did not find many good options other than either stretchy bras without the molded style cups or buying the kind with removable pads and leave padding in for the smaller side.

It didn't occur to me to look for bras with removable padding.  Do they make nursing bras like that?  It's not looking like there are very good options.
