I posted this in my DDC, however thought I'd share here as well.  We welcomed a baby boy at home, in the water, two weeks ago:) Although I've yet to write his birth story, our midwife wrote an incredibly moving essay about the evening he was born.  Such a beautiful piece about what happens at a home birth and the power of women supporting one another:
