Three under 5 in a 91 Chrysler Concorde....do we need a new car?

Much as I'd LOVE a minivan, we just bought this car outright cash a few months ago to eliminate our car payment. We were planning on keeping it until at least next summer. Then we found out we're pregnant.

Right now ds is FF in an Alpha Omega. Dd is RF of course in a Scenera. We can get a free carseat for this baby through the health department but it will be another Scenera. I just can't picture those three carseats fitting in that tiny back row.

So, we are trying to figure out now whether we need to start saving for A) a super expensive carseat (or 2 or 3 of them) that will fit back there safely or B) a larger vehicle.

I've heard Radians are skinny but I don't know anything about them. My kids are lightweights.....ds still only weighs like 28 lbs. but he is 3 and a half so we turned him. I don't expect dd to turn before her third birthday either. So I'm thinking ds in the middle, FF, and the two RF carseats on the sides. We don't have LATCH either so the rf carseat is always tilting no matter what we do.

Help???

I don't know your particular car and you'll probably going to need to go to BRU and try some out in your car but my first thought (looking at the convertible measurement spreadsheet from car-seat.org) would be Maestro in the middle for DS, and a Scenera on either side. If you can wait for the next BRU trade in event it would be fairly affordable.

Oh and I'd try Maestro, DD in the seat you have and the Scenera first, just to minimize purchases and then if that doesn't work look at another Scenera.

I'm sure you could do it with something like Radians and Coccoros but I'd check out the lower cost options first.  Good luck!
