Music classes / play groups Tampa FL

Hello... 

We moved to Tampa 3 weeks ago and am looking for music classes or play groups in the area.  My son is 10 months old.

Welcome to Tampa! I live in Tampa, too. I'm a member of a group called Crunchy Moms on Facebook. Although not exclusively Tampa residents, there are a lot of moms from Tampa and the surrounding areas with little ones of all ages. If you're on Facebook and you'd like, I can add you? There are also a few groups on Meet-up.com and I'd highly recommend Baby Bungalow. There are several locations throughout Hillsborough County and they offer free programs. The only downside is that a lot of them are during the weekday, so not so convenient if you work a traditional 9-5. We found a lot of friends through LLL meetings, too. If you are breastfeeding, I would highly recommend finding the closest/most convenient one.

Oh, and Baby Bungalow definitely offers music classes. There are also Gymboree and KinderMusic locations in Tampa.

I am a facebook holdout so I don't have an account!  Thanks for the offer though.

I am still breastfeeding/pumping but wanting to stop soon.  Sooner rather than later!

i've just enrolled my 9 month old in a music together class in st pete. the instructor, colleen mcgrath, also has classes in tampa. i haven't been to a class yet but have several friends who are in love with it and say that she is fabulous.

Hi gals!  I'm going to be in Tampa by the end of the year.  I would love to meet up with some of you when I get there.  I'm pretty nervous about finding some like minded mamas there.  JenniferP, could I join the facebook group?  I have no idea what to expect.  We just moved to Fayetteville, NC a year ago and I'm JUST now finding like minded mamas!!  I don't want to wait a year to find new friends.  Sorry to hijack this post.
