Breastfeeding cafe's in Cumbria, England!?!?!?

This is so cool! Has this already been posted here? If so, sorry smile.gif Here's the link to what they're doing: http://www.cumbriacrack.com/2011/05/20/breastfeeding-cafes-offer-haven-for-new-mums/

I want to see cafe's like this all across AMERICA. Think about the possibilities! If we had a bunch of these everywhere, other "normal" cafe's might follow suite and make theirs more breastfeeding friendly, then it would be a chain reaction to restaurants and everywhere else. Well, maybe.

Anyway, this made me happy! After hearing about the enraging law passed in Georgia about banning breastfeeding toddlers in Public, I was happy to read a POSITIVE lactivist story! joy.gif

I'd like more parenting / kid friendly cafes in general.  My dream would be a nice cozy place with a bunch of squishy chairs for moms to hang out with their babies and talk with one another, in a nice carpeted area for babies to play on the floor, with an adjacent toddler play area.  Bit bathrooms with deluxe changing tables.  Coffee for me, and a menu full of healthy toddler-friendly finger foods.

We have a local pub that has an outside area with a big play area, picnic tables and a good menu (things like tofu sloppy joes).  It also has beer.  On nice weekends the place is PACKED.  I'd like an alternative for bad weather or cozy days.  Also, there is no place to sit and get comfy with a baby.  Picnic tables and dirt floor.
