good luck to us all!!!

Sorry AF came vivica hug2.gif I hope the 75mg dose is the one you need! It looks like my O date will be exactly the same as usual too (CD 17- tomorrow) because I got a darker OPK this morning and I expect the OPK to be fully positive tonight. I hope that doesn't mean my LP will also be the same!

I've been up since 5am Saturday morning because i had to be at work at 0630am yesterday morning and i got off work at 1230pm. then i got called BACK at 730pm last night and was told i had to be back at work at 1100pm.  SO i've been back at work since 11pm last night and i don't get  off work until 11am!!! I'm SUCH a tired woman right now!!! And i know that going this long without sleep is going to mess with my cycle...it always does when i go that long without sleep.

Brichole - wow that sounds tough! What kind of work do you do?

Thanks for starting the new thread!

Sourire:  Thanks for the new thread.

vivica2: When I was taking Clomid my LP was between 11-12 days and was able to conceive with that LP even when I was taking 100mg.  I was taking it days 3-7 due to low progesterone.  I am sorry AF came but hopefully this will be your cycle to have a BFP.

Stevi: Sorry I did not get back you earlier about trying again prior to the 2 cycles that my doctor wants me to wait.  He said that if I don't wait the 2 cycle it would increase my chances of miscarriage again.  I have decided that I am not going to try but not prevent either.

AFM: I ending up having the D&C on Friday to remove our little angle as my body was not showing any signs of releasing it.  I am now just waiting for my cycle to return.

Good luck to everyone and hope to see a lot of BFP's soon.

remark - how long was your LP when you weren't taking Clomid? How many cycles of Clomid did you take before you got your BFP? It sounds like you were taking it for almost the same reason I am, that's why I am so interested! Are you planning to take Clomid again soon?

New thread-- thanks Sourire!

Remark71, sorry to hear about what you had to go through.  I hope your cycle returns soon.

Anybody planning on testing in the next couple of days?  I'm really hoping to see some bfps to cheer me on!

Sourire:  I got pregnant on the 7th cycle of Clomid.  I was started on 50mg for 3 cycles, then a cycle off, then three cycles of 100mg, then a cycle off, then another cycle of 100mg when I got pregnant.  It was funny because I was thinking of taking the Clomid that last cycle and have an IUI, but my husband said that we should give it the old boyscout try and it worked.  If only it would have stuck around.  As far as starting it again probably after my second cycle as that is when the doctor wants me to try.  However, I will not be preventing between now and then.  I am hoping for a BFP next month, if my cycle returns by then, but not getting too worried about it.  I just don't feel like waiting two -three months before trying again as I am already 40 years old.  It took me 18 months to get pregnant with my DS and had a chemical pregnancy the month before I conceived him.  It took me another 18 months to get pregnant the second time (the angle in heaven 5/11).  I am hoping that it will not take that long this time around.  I hope that you get your BFP this time around.  Also, I had tried taking the B6 and B-complex with the Clomid but got pregnant on the one cycle that I didn't use any of it.  Good Luck.

Thanks for the new thread.

AFM - Still no O and I think I am CD26 or CD27. I guess I am just waiting for AF now so that we can decide if we want to try next cycle.

Thanks for the new thread!

Vivica - so sorry AF found you hug2.gif I'm secretly hoping for a pisces baby as well Sheepish.gif I'm a pisces hehe

Bela - hug2.gifto my long cycle buddy. Praying that you can either release an eggie soon or that if you decide to try again and AF comes that a new perfect little egg will be waiting and ready soon after.

AFM - really hoping for a temp rise in the morning so I have something to be excited about and update you guys on! I'm really resting and finding peace in that no matter what the timing will be perfect and that this little baby will join our family exactly when it is supposed to. DH is still certain I O'd 2 weeks ago and that he "put (insert name of our yet to be conceived male child) in" during that time ROTFLMAO.gifHe would have to have some really super sperm to survive that long....

In other news. Finished my last triathlon this morning. I had a really great race and am very happy with my race and my time! But sad that my season was so short and that I am sacrificing something I truly love for TTC. Praying that maybe a break is all my body really needs. I really could use some ibuprofen but am toughing it out just in case...

remark - Wow that sounds very difficult for you. I hope you don't end up needing the Clomid again! Did you have many side effects when you were taking it? Did you notice a big difference between the 50mg and 100mg.

Sila - good luck with your ovulation! I am expecting my temp to rise on Tuesday so we might be cycle buddies!

Sourire:  I had hot flashes at night and mood swings, but only the mood swings seemed to be worse on the 100mg.  I am hoping that I will not need the Clomid again but with my luck I probably will.  Good luck with this cycle and hopefully you won't need anymore doses.

I'm a 911 dispatcher/police & fire dispatcher.  I've been doing this job for 5 years now and i was at my 1st center for almost 4 years and i have been here at the Redstone Aresnal in Alabama for a year.  The hours are so crazy some days and u'd think i'd get use to it but i still hate it sometimes because of the time i have to spend away from my family.  We are short 2 people right now because they just fired 2 girls so it's been a really long few months!!!  I pray that things start getting back to "normal" soon...but we'll see lol.

AFM:  I'm on cd9 and i TOTALLY forgot to bring an OPK with me to work so i'll have to check as soon as I get home.  I'm sure that I haven't Oed yet but i did have some "O" type pains night before last so who knows!  I am so excited that my cycles are finally starting to be "normal" again though...well i say again...i should say "normal" for the first time EVER in my life!!!  Since i started at the age of 11 (16 years ago) I have NEVER had normal short periods.  I never would get my period during the summer until i graduated high school and then i'd still go 3 to 6 months most times without one.  It was crazy and i didn't mind it much back then when i wasn't trying to have a baby!!!!  Now that i understand everything that goes with getting pregnant I know that I need to have a period a little more often than that lol.  When i was TTC #2 I didn't realize until later that my cycles were 43 to 45 days long.  I guess that would be considered "Normal" since they were consistant but i wasn't Oing on my own then. Now my periods are 18-21 days apart which is great but i've GOT to get my LP lengthened!!!

I hope that everyone is doing good...looks like there are a lot of us who are "WAITING TO O" ....i hope O finds us all really soon!!!!!

Quick question...my period has been about 3 days long for several years now (3 days of "normal" bleeding), but recently it's become 1-2 days.  This month, my period started on Friday.  It was normal, but by Saturday it was gone.  SO and I even DTD Saturday night and there was no blood at all (sorry, TMI!).  The period before that was pretty light, I had one day of normal bleeding, but then light bleeding for another two days.  Does it mean anything?  Should I be worried?

TIA.

ETA:  I'm not on BC (obviously ;)) and haven't been for about 3 years.  I'm not stressed, I don't exercise excessively, and I eat pretty well.

I finally got a +OPK last night. Now I am just waiting for my temp to go up. Looks like we could be cycle buddies Sila and Sourire!

Yay Bela!

Just sitting around for my temp to go up 2whistle.gif I "think" I got a pos opk this morning. But I thought I got a pos on Sat too...but today's seems darker than the control and the darkest I have gotten yet. I hate opks! I'm retarded at reading them. Still some EWCM and still fairly HSO so we'll BD today and hope for a temp rise tomorrow! I'm starting to get impatient....

BubbleMa - I'm no expert on short periods because I have completely the opposite problem, but it could possibly mean that your uterine lining is not building up as much as it does for other ladies. If that is the case, it could be due to low progesterone or low estrogen. Are your cycles otherwise normal?

belacmsage - I got a + OPK last night too! Actually it was super positive, the line was about twice as dark as the control. This morning the OPK was a bit lighter so I'm expecting my temp to go up tomorrow. Hooray for cycle buddies!

Sila - I always wait until I have an OPK that was lighter than the last one (like the one I had this morning) to confirm when my LH surge peaked. In my case it peaked last night so I expect to O today. Your really dark OPK sounds like a great sign though!

I'm in a similar position. Periods used to be 3 days, normal flow (for me), now they are 2 and seem pretty light. I've been googling and searching. I read a couple threads where REs told their patient not to worry, thin linings are rarely an issue. TCOYF says that if you are ovulating, timing correctly, and get all the other signs and aren't getting pregnant, then lining could be an issue. Specifically when your periods get lighters and shorter relative to previous cycles.

Seems like Red Raspberry tea, nettle tea, and baby aspirin are three possible remedies, but I found lots of conflicting evidence such that I'm not sure of any of the three. I'd be curious to find out if you discover anything else. As far as I know I'm ovulating, have EWCM, and otherwise seem to have regular cycles, so I'm searching for another explanation for our lack of luck...

I just found out my SIL is pregnant with her second. She started trying after I did. When I saw her at Easter I guessed she was pregnant, but I was really hoping to be already pregnant by the time she announced it so that I wouldn't get all jealous and stuff. Ah well.

My SIL is also pregnant and we were really hoping to be pregnant at the same time. It's really hard. They got pregnant the very first time.

I'll keep doing my opks and see what happens. I had been doing 2/day even though the opks I have specifically say use FMU. The ones I do w/ FMU are always darker and the ones I have done at night are always light and negative. So I have just been comparing my FMU ones and this morning's was definitely the darkest and the only one that seemed darker (not the same) as the control line. I hope I'm not getting false positives or something...maybe I just can't hold my pee long enough for the ones I do at night. I guess only my temp will tell...
