I have to confess ...

I cant stomach my own cooking so Ive been eating anything I see when I am out ie pizza, dim sum, cupckes, fried rice, sandwiches

Normally these things make me feel awful but I am digesting these easily while not the things that usually make me feel great. So strange

I confess to:

Not eating my normal diet.

Breaking out my elastic-waist shorts and loose shirts at 7 weeks.

Letting DS watch way more than 1 hour of educational tv a day

Not exercising.

I have a new one: Starbucks.  I was totally over my coffee addiction after about a month of not being able to stomach my mochas.  But at the zoo this weekend, where it got up to about 95 degrees, I tried to get a chocolate banana smoothie at the little kiosk.  They didn't make smoothies, but the guy suggested a frappuccino.  I had a major craving for a slushy drink, so I decided to get one with 1/2 the normal amount of espresso.

OMG.  I'm in heaven.  caffix.gif  I SO have to figure out a decaf substitute I can make at home.

I LOVE fraps. Sadly there are to many starbucks near my house lol

I confess to:

Eating lunch meat within a couple hours of finding out I am pg.

Drinking 1 to 2 cups of coffee a day. I can't give my coffee up even if it makes me feel sick. I'm a SAHM to my 4 children ages 5 to 9 months.

Other then that, I've been pretty good with my diet this pg. During my last pg I bought frozen meals everytime I walked into a grocery store. I was sick for 18 weeks though, so I'm trying harder this time to eat healthy and stay away from sweets.

I was trying so hard not to have anything for this thread but yesterday I broke down and ate 6 of those pre-made ready to cook chocolate chip cookies from a package. My husband bought them and left them right in the front of the fridge! We NEVER have stuff like that around, I have no idea what got into him. But of course I had to try one which then turned into 6! Didn't even bother to bake them. *sigh*

I ate yogurt and cup of noodles for breakfast. bag.gif

Yeah, for lunch today, I had a Weight Watchers Thai dinner, 5 baby carrots, a whole strand of grapes, a string cheese, 2 veggie eggrolls and 6 veggie potstickers.  dizzy.gif

...But since part of lunch was Weight Watchers, it doesn't count as over-eating right?  ;)

I confess to...

not exercising enough!

craving (and eating) ANYTHING potato! potato chips, fries, tater tots, and

potato salad (I hear others with the same craving!) - I made some for Memorial day and ate leftovers for almost every meal for the next few days! I have supplies to make more...

HEATH BARS - OMG!

eating 2/3 of a package of imitation oreos about a week ago (it made me feel sick, probably a good thing!)

and hiding my goodies so that my husband won't eat them! LOL!

I just ate Papa John's breadsticks with nacho cheese sauce, followed by a big glass of orange juice.  It sounds so awful, but I really wanted OJ all of the sudden!

Ahhhhhh, that sounds so gross! bigeyes.gif At least the OJ mixing with nacho cheese in your stomach part! LOL

I confess to not exercising at all; gaining 8-10lbs already!; eating lunch meat here and there and never remembering it's something I'm supposed to avoid and when I do remember, not feeling guilty because it was so good going down!

Tonight my dh is bringing me home a double cheeseburger and poutine from Burger King and I'm soooooooo excited!!!

(I hang my head in shame.  I'm more excited about the junk food than seeing my dh)

I can't stop Arby's curling fry's and Wendy's frosty floats....ahhhhhh......I'm already running to get the keys. ;)

But I eat Ramon and almost all of the stuff you guys are embarrassed about normally!? But I am just married and 20..so I do eat like a starving college student, I guess? I thought I was doing good not hitting the 1$ menu anywhere! haha...oh well. I haven't gained that much weight so I guess I'm in the clear.

I had two avocados for breakfast this morning. I think I will have another one with lunch. I just can't get enough avocados and guacamole!

I had a very healthy breakfast of oatmeal, apricots, and toast... And then 45 minutes later I ate half a bag of potato chips on the way to school.  A big bag.  I ate a healthy lunch and afternoon snack, and then right before dinner I inhaled the other half of the bag!  I have been loving potato chips for the past two days, can't get enough!!!  Soooo unlike me...

Montessorimama1 - Do you think you're craving salt?  I ate a large amount of potato chips and pretzels one night and nearly orgasmed on the salt.  If you've upped your water intake recently, it may be diluting the natural levels of sodium in your body.  I do a shot of water, mixed with a couple pinches of salt in the mornings (probably not recommended if you've got m/s) and the salt craving went away.  Granted, I will talk to my MW later on about continuing, because my last pregnancy, I swelled BAD from water retention starting at about 5 months and I don't want to do that again.

I seriously wonder what it is about pregnancy that makes us crazy processed junk food.  I've been wanting potato chips, pizza, McDonald's (eeew!), and all kinds of things that I don't normally eat... Then I wonder why I've gained 10 lbs...  *sigh*

I'm definitely craving salty things over sweet.  Just the thought of cake or pastries makes me want to puke and I used to have a major sweet tooth... I have a tablespoon of gomashio (roasted and grounded sesame seeds with sea salt) every morning, so hopefully that's helping with the salt balance but I think you might be onto something because I am chugging a lot more water than I'm used to.  Thanks for pointing out the need to balance my sodium... So many things to keep in mind!  :)

I just ate almost a whole bag of sliced pepperoni, 1/3 of a package of rice crackers and more cheese than I should have eaten in the last 7 hours. I LOVE pepperoni all of a sudden. At least it's the healthier kind rolleyes.gif
