Selling birthing tub- feel heartbroken!

I am selling my birthing tub after my wonderful incredible home birth. We need the money desperately but I feel SO sad... it represents so much to me and its just the most sacred thing.. considering my baby was born there...

Heart hurts! Anyone else go through similar situation?

i'm sorry! 

my dh threw away my placenta from dd2 without telling me or asking me. i stll haven't forgiven him.

maybe it can help you to think that the tub will help a new mama bring her precious baby into the world. it will be a part of holding that sacred space again and part of the birth of a new family, and that's something wonderful to give to another.

banana- I would have killed him! haha. I never thought I'd care much for my placenta but I encapsulated and took half of mine after my homebirth and I feel pretty attached to the rest of the pills. hah

mom-to-milo- here's my ad on craigslist... I'd like to avoid shipping it though... it would probably cost too much to make it worth it for you.
