Making our bed safer for cosleeping

Thread Starter

I posted this question on the tail end of a different thread, but am hoping for some feedback posting it as its own thread.

I am trying to make our bed more comfortable for cosleeping.  We have moved since DD was an infant so our room is no longer large enough to sidecar a crib or anything to.

Has anyone tried something like this   for cosleeping?

Or have any other ideas?  I'd prefer that the baby doesn't have to sleep between me and DH, because DH won't sleep well and who needs an infant and a grumpy hubby for 6 months winky.gif

I never used pillows like that, but we did use a bed rail and just stuck receiving blankets in any gap you might see.  Then it would be baby, you, and DH in the arrangment (it sounds like your DD does not cosleep anymore- so it would be just 3 of you, right?).  Also, how about pushing the bed to the wall?  We did this as well when my son started crawling and pulling up (it made me nervous just having a little bedrail to protect him from falling off).  I hope you can find something that works for your family!
