Eeeekkkk I'm getting peed on! Diaper leaks!

I just started to use the Green Acre Designs diapers someone gave me for my son. I use the pocket diapers stuffed with microfiber inserts and maybe a booster or whatever I feel like really. They are in really great shape and the elastic is perfect. They are size large,so maybe to big for him? They aren't as snug as his Bummis flats and cover are. I checked the site though and it says large is for babys who weigh 22 pounds and up and he's probably 22 pounds now,20 last time I checked. Also medium is for babys up to 25 pounds so these ones should fit him well enough. Maybe he's to small and his body shape isn't the right fit for them right now? I think I might use a back up flat with a Snappi to control some leaks. It's only happened twice.

I think GAD work best on chubby thighs, so if he's at the small end of the weight limit they're probably too big.  Is the insert saturated?

GAD larges are for a 3 year old, IME.  My ds2 was 25 lbs and 2.5 years old before they fit him - tall and thin.
