deleting myself

Is this a possibilty?  I don't like the new changes involving facebook.  So I attempted to edit some of my posts to remove information and am unable.  I would really like my account deleted.  Is this possible?

Your account can be closed but that does not mass delete your posts. We do not mass delete posts. When a member participates in discussions they do so in exchange with other members who invest their time and share their opinions and advice with you.  By deleting your posts you damage that interaction and that affects the discussion that others took the time to participate in. That's why we do not mass delete posts and we ask members who wish to edit their posts to remove something they regret placing in their post that they do so in a way that does not damage the discussion.

Your account can be closed, so you will no longer be able to post from it - but nothing will be deleted.
