my dd was diagnosed with mild ventricular megaly when i was 24 weeks pregnant, with ventricles measuring 18 mm.  thankfully at birth her ventricles were within the normal range and the surrounding brain tissue looked healthy and undamaged.  she is a thriving and seemingly perfect baby, now 5 mos, and she's supposed to have another mri at 8 mos to get a better understanding of the situation.

has anyone else gone through this?  do you have a child with ventricular megaly?  i'm curious as what to expect in the future, in regards to monitoring, testing, development, your experience, etc.

thanks!
