Refusing to check my progesterone levels due to my plan of having a homebirth with a midwife

I'm in Wyoming (near Torrington), and I'm having trouble finding someone test check my progesterone levels. They ask me who I'm planning on having do my OB care, and when I say I'm planning on having a homebirth with a midwife they can't check my progesterone levels. So how do I find somebody to check my progesterone levels?  I've already been to two wasted appointments.  I had to take progesterone with my son for the first 3 months.

Could you have an OB for the first couple months just to make sure you are getting progesterone if you need it? With my last baby I saw an OB/midwife until I decided on a homebirth at 28 weeks. Then I just cancelled my next appointment and started seeing the homebirth midwife. The homebirth midwife even prorated her fee for me. Also, could your midwife write a referral or "prescription" requesting your levels be checked? Best of luck!
