3 y/o fever and sensitivity to light?

A little over 2 weeks ago, this house was plagued by a virus in which each of my 3 children displayed different symptoms.  All had cough and runny/stuffy noses, 2 had high fevers.  My 3 y/o son had a 103ish fever and was sensitive to the light when he woke up in the morning.  he had the fever for 3 days - it seemed like the light sensitivity was worse the higher the fever?  i took him to doctor and he was fine - no neck pain, could move head up and down with out pain, etc.  well, we have been virus free for 1 1/2 weeks and now my son has another fever and he is squinting while watching a video.  he hasn't complained about being sensitive to light, but he is acting the same as when he was before.  his temp is 101.7.  is this normal to be sensitive to light with a fever?  is this just normal for him?  our doctor never really addressed this question when i took him in to see him 2 weeks ago - he just looked him over and said he was fine.  Thanks!

OH, and he is acting fine.  eating well.  no complaints.  i checked him forehead because he was saying he was cold and he looked a little not himself.  he felt hot and i checked him temp.

This sounds OK to me.  kids will get headache when they have a fever, and light can make a headache feel worse.  So that's probably the reason.
