Both started with my water breaking around 3am.  I was really hoping for, and expecting, a full term baby with my second, but it didn't turn out that way.  I really don't think you can count on anything.

#1 36 w 3d (best guess, don't remember dates and no dating US) induce for Pre-E

#2 39 w no induction

#3&4 37w 2d twins, no induction

Thanks everyone for sharing your dates!  It's interesting to see all the numbers. 

As for what I'm going to do...I've spoken with my manager and arranged to use the week of vacation time at 39w.  If baby doesn't come during that time off work (which would be anywhere from 37w 5d through 40w 0d) then I'll return to work on 40w 1d and work until he arrives.  Not a big deal.  Once baby is born I have 12 weeks off, then I'm working 3 weeks of half days, then it'll be November with a week off that month, then two weeks off in December.  If I don't use this time before baby...not sure where to use it after baby as I'm already going to be out for most of the end of the year. 

I don't have much left to do at home besides clean (clean and clean!) but day by day sitting at work becomes increasingly more uncomfortable, bordering on downright painful.  And I'm only in the office 2.5 days a week, I can't imagine if I had to be here 5 days a week...I'd be even more of a whiny baby.

Both dates based  on ovulation charting.  With #1 I had an early ultrasound that gave an EDD of 2 days after the EDD from charting.

#1 came between the two EDDs, exactly.   I'd call him 40w exactly.

#2 came 40w +2 hours.    If she'd been just a tiny bit earlier she would've been born on her EDD.

I know it's been ages, but wanted to thank everyone again for their input.  My son ended up being born at 39w 4d which was four days before I would have needed to go back to work.  I got five days to rest and relax before DS was born, couldn't have been better timing.  We got lucky!
