sleep patterns

So, my little girl is almost 3 weeks old now and I'm wondering when you all noticed a pattern with sleep? I don't really notice any pattern yet. She still sleeps most of the day and crashes for the night at different times, between 8:30 and 10 or 11. She has a period of the evening that she needs extra soothing (paci seems to be working so far) and nurses every 3 hour or so, with longer stretches at night. I'm not worried about anything, I'm just wanting to compare and see when everyone else noticed a "wake time, nap time, wake time, nap time, wake time, bed time pattern." Thanks!

I asked this of my due date club when my son was ~5 weeks old.

I'm seeing something at 6 weeks.  I still can't quite figure out what's going to happen when the cat naps stop but DC is showing a strong tendency to seep in the late morning/early afternoon (like from 10-2) and then again in the early evening (like 4-5).  She seems to need a lot of sleep so I think she'll take 3 naps.  It'll be interesting to see how that pans out.

Night time sleep seems to be from about 8-7.  I do think she would get up at 5:30 if I would interact with her but I try to nurse her back to sleep until 7.

I noticed a pattern around 6 months of age.

My little one is a few days older than yours and we have a loose pattern in the evening.

She has a deep nap in the evening, nurses when I go to bed and get her into her night diaper and shirt. If she eats at 11ish she may sleep through. She wakes up early in the morning (4.30 to 5.30) for another big nurse and then falls into another deep sleep. If we get up around 5.30 or 6 she falls back down easily, even if we get her dressed and she has had lots of love from big brother (2).

Days are harder to see a pattern in since they are so busy.
