My ds is 20 months old.  He hasn't been a great sleeper, but up until the last month, I would say that he has always slept better at every age than dd did -- so that's something!

The past month we have had maybe a handful of good nights, the rest of them he's been up 3 hours straight or more every night.  I am not taking it very well.  I'm so exhausted, and dh is completely useless in the night.  Besides that he works full time and is a total crab when he's woken up, ds doesn't want anything to do with him.

I night weaned him maybe a couple months ago (I can't remember anything right now) but have completely gone back on it because I am just too tired to stay up all night with him and sometimes nursing helps him get to sleep -- often not, though.  The night weaning didn't really help him sleep more at night, apparently.

He has been consistently congested with swollen lymph nodes, maybe he has spring allergies?  I have started recently with a new chiropractor who I hope will be able to help with this.

He goes to bed around 7:30 and gets up when I wake him because he is so tired from being up all night.  He naps in the early afternoon; I've started waking him up after 2 hours so he will go to sleep at night.  For a while last week I was putting him to bed late, like 9:00, so I could sleep at the same time (because he will usually sleep 2-4 hours when he first goes to sleep).

Any books or ideas for helping a toddler sleep?  I am contemplating completely weaning him, but if his immune system is low, I don't want to take the milk away.  But this is seriously affecting my health, and I need to get some real sleep at night, not just catch a nap here and there when someone can watch my kids.
